4 days old pulsar 220 seized

The photos belong to Zeeshan Iqbal, the owner of this bike who had not so good experience with his new 220. After taking the bike to 130kmph for few seconds the bike stalled and this happened.

Obviously he was not following the runnin in period but still its shocking to see such a big malfunctioning of the bike

thanks to bajaj for cooperating with me n they r providing my bike with a all new block kit n crank... they agreed this might be a fault from their side too..... even now i m advised to be bit calm while i buy a new ride

Well thats a bad news that the engine got seized in the first week itself. But this is the first time i'm hearing about this. i dont think that sudden burst can result like this. It must have been a faulty engine. But you never know.
well if i was at your place i would have twisted their arms to provide me a new engine all together. But this time make it sure that you complete your Runin properly. And remember everyone if you want your bike to be healty and honest with you then never misbehave with her. Always complete the runin period and then only go for stunting and high speed or drags. Being a Biker you should know whats good for your bike and whats not.

sherry i too asked for a new engine n even had words with bajaj's r&d head through a phone call but they said they won't b changing the complete engine but will change the malfunctioning parts...
